    November is #nativeamericanheritagemonth. The Native American Festival at the museum just ended, and even though I’m in the middle of NaNo and reading two other books right now, I always come back to this one. #thirteenmoons is one of my favorite reads and I’ve cherished this abridged copy in Cherokee that I picked up during my research trip for #themooneyedones. My Cherokee isn’t perfect and I’m not brave enough to speak it in conversation like I am with Mandarin, but I always enjoy the process of reading a book I love while learning a new language at the same time. #amreading #charlesfrazier #cherokeelanguage
