#throwbackthursday to this friend I found while on a trip to Asheville with @mysouthernhart and my roommate. This leafy buddy was in Biltmore Village with a number of other mysteriously googly-eyed plants. 🌱👀🌿 #writerslife #asheville #biltmorevillage #googlyeyesmakeeverythingbetter (at Asheville, North Carolina)
There’s a plant that grows in the shape of tiny bunnies making peace signs. Monilaria obconica is a flowering succulent, but its sprouts resemble little rabbit ears before they start growing longer and larger, which makes it look like a family of green bunnies posing for a photo. SourceSource 2

1. Truth – seeing through the lies. Being lied to our whole lives hurts, but transcending these illusions liberates us and is the first step to creating the reality we desire.
2. Autonomy – thinking for ourselves. Through the awakening process we are becoming more in tune with ourselves which makes us less susceptible to manipulation.
3. Awareness – consciously creating our reality. When we realise we create our reality we step into our power as the divine creators we came here to be.
4. Empowerment – moving into the creator mindset. Instead of feeling life is happening to us we know that we are responsible for the people, places & situations we attract to us.
5. Self-love – nurturing the relationship we have with ourselves. Awakening teaches us we must love ourselves if we want to love the life we’re living.
6. Oneness – feeling connected to everyone & everything. The feeling of being one with the universe allows us to transcend barriers to love.
7. Intuition – access to higher guidance. Being guided by our higher selves helps us to navigate the world and move toward what we love.
8. Fun – not taking things too seriously. When we acknowledge that we came here to have fun we stop taking irrelevant things too seriously and maximise our enjoyment of this human experience.
9. Tribe – meeting like-minded individuals. To be sane in an insane world can be tough, but meeting others who “get it” is a magical experience.
Awakening is becoming aware of who we are & what we came here to do.
